Deep interlocking teeth, steel spring
The jaws are wide and deeply serrated, so they take a whole section rather than pinching a corner of it and sliding free. Behind them sits a strong hinge with a steel spring — enough tension to hold thick or freshly conditioned hair, without the snap that creases a finished blow-dry. The tail carries a textured grip pad so you can reposition one-handed while the other hand is still holding hair.

Will they crease finished hair?
The spring is tensioned to hold rather than clamp, and the jaws are matte with no sharp edge, so they don't leave the line a metal clip does. On a fresh blow-dry, clip loosely and take them out before the hair fully cools.
Are they strong enough for really thick hair?
That's what the deep interlocking teeth are for. They grip across the full width of the section instead of pinching the front edge, which is where cheaper clips let go.
Can I use them over extensions?
Yes. Clip below or above the attachment row rather than directly on a weft track or bond, same as you would with any sectioning clip.
How many do I need?
Four sections a full head, which covers most installs and colour work. If you regularly work on very thick or very long hair, two packs gives you room to sub-section.
Can I return it?
Change-of-mind returns are accepted within 7 days, unopened and in the original packaging - email hello@manebaby.com.au first. If they arrive faulty or damaged we will replace them, which is your right under Australian Consumer Law regardless of the 7 days.
